Check out my latest interview with former Yankee shortstop, Roy Smalley. He talks about the Pine Tar Incident, his impressions of a young Mattingly, and his efforts to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Find it at BronxPinstripes.com.

Dan: You’ve got a terrific website. Remember the summer camps at SBS? You and your brother Mike attended, around 1996-98. Wall drills, Gold Gloves, etc. Your dad was on our coaching staff. Oddly, what I remember him most for was how he did his “Simon Says” routines at the junior division level. It was a scream.
Remember John Simone? He later playued at Quinnipiac. Both you and your brother were so well-behaved and polite; a great tribute to your mom and dad for the way they raised you…with Godly principles.
Wish you well in all of your endeavors. Check out my website if you get the chance
    To God be the Glory.
