Keeler in 1905 (Baseball Fever)

In 1903 “Wee” Willie Keeler moved from the Brooklyn Superbas to the New York Highlanders for $10,000, becoming the highest paid player in the Major Leagues.  In 1903 the 5’4″ Keeler rapped out 160 hits and recorded a .313 batting average.  He followed that with 186 hits and a .343 batting average in 1904.
